an employee: K.
Dassau made the nomination of Ann Killeen to the half-time reading position at
Emerson. MOTION: K. Cota. MOVED to nominate Ann Colleen to the
half-time reading position at Emerson. SECOND:
C. Dreyfuss. DISCUSSION: K.
Dassau read the letter of recommendation from K. Craig. K. Cota asked if the
Board has checked with the NH Retirement System. K. Dassau explained that there is a
recommendation from the building principal and a letter from A. Killeen. K.
Cota commented that she would be receiving early retirement and also working in
the District. MOTION to amend: R
Smith would like the position advertised in the paper. SECOND: D. Lyman. DISCUSSION:
K. Dassau explained that the position is posted in throughout the district.
K. Dassau explained that there is a recommendation from the building principal.
P. Peterson asked if she was certified. K. Dassau explained that she would be
doing an alternative program and listed the names of people that had already
done the alternative program. R. Smith and D. Lyman withdrew their motion and
second on the amendment. VOTE: 3.537/5.209/3.661/2.593.
Motion fails.

Dassau nominated K. Carter to a 1/5 part time position as a consultant to the
MC2 Program. This position would be for one day a week. The salary is
$15,250.00 with no additional benefits except FICA. MOTION: K. Cota. MOVED to
accept the proposal from the Superintendent for the 1/5 part time consulting
position to MC2 for K.Carter. SECOND: C.
Dreyfuss. DISCUSSION: K.Cota
commented that the NEASC highly recommended the program and she would support
the motion. VOTE: 7.098/4.130/1.179/2.593.
Motion passes.
MOTION: D. Lyman MOVED to go out of non-public session. SECOND: C. Dreyfuss. VOTE: 12.407/0/0/2.593. Motion passes.
