Board Meeting Minutes

Non-public Session

August 15, 2006

MRHS Library, Swanzey, NH

9:50 PM – Present: Ken Colby, Karen Cota, Phyllis Peterson, James Carnie, Jonathan Kenyon, Bruce Tatro, Gene White, Richard Thackston, Tim Peloquin, William Felton, Charles Johnson and Colline Dreyfuss.

Also present: K. Dassau, Superintendent, D. Hodgdon, Assistant Superintendent, Business Manager Katie Chambers and Laura L. Aivaliotis, Recording secretary.

Also present: B. Tatro.

K. Dassau explained that a family of a student who had attended Mt. Caesar had sold their house and the family was living with the grandmother in Harrisville until they buy a house in Swanzey. The parents are asking that the student continue to attend Mt. Caesar while looking for a house. B. Tatro explained that she discussed the issue with the mother. MOTION: C. Johnson MOVED to allow the student to attend Mt. Caesar. They will have 60 days to find a house in Swanzey if at that time they have a sales agreement they may approach the Board again and ask for approval until the closing. SECOND: K. Colby. VOTE: 12.089/0/0/2.911. Motion passes.

MOTION: J. Carnie MOVED to go back into public session. SECOND: B. Tatro. VOTE: 12.089/0/0/2.911. Motion passes.
