Non-public session in accordance with RSA 91-A:3II (b) hiring of personnel.���������������

 

Present: Richard Thackston, chair, James Carnie, Colline Dreyfuss, Jeff Friedman, Gene White, Bruce Tatro, Alan Gross, Karen Cota, Robin Marra, Jonathan Kenyon, Bruce McCulley, Charles R. Johnson. Absent: Tim Aho, Jason Hill, John Morin

Also present: K. Dassau, Supt., D. Hodgdon, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, and D. Most, Assistant Business Manager.

 

1. Nominations: The MRSD school board entered non-public session for the purpose of nominations at 8:58 p.m. K. Dassau indicated that there were two nominations to be brought before the board.Mr. Stockwell nominated Gay Betts to serve as a long-term substitute beginning on May 2 and continuing until the end of this school year.

 

C. Johnson MOVED to accept the nomination. SECOND: J. Kenyon. VOTE:11.931/0/0/3.069 MOTION PASSES.

 

The second nomination was for Matt Young to be selected as the new middle school principal.D. Hodgdon provided an informational packet on Mr. Young and the process and highlighted elements.B. McCulley MOVED to hire the nominee. SECOND:C. Dreyfuss.�� 10.81/0/1.21/ 3.069 absent.MOTION PASSES.

 

9:35 PMA. Gross MOVED to return to public session. SECOND:.B. Tatro VOTE:Unanimous for members present. Motion passes.

 

2. Dismissal Hearing: 9:37 PM ��B. McCulley MOVED to enter into non-public session for RSA 189.14-a to discuss a request for a hearing.SECOND: C. Dreyfuss�� VOTE: 11.931/0/0/3.069. MOTION PASSES.

 

K. Dassau presented the request of a teacher for a hearing.

 

B. McCulley MOVED to hold the hearing on May 10 at 7 p.m. May 24 at 7 p.m. was offered as an alternative date. SECOND: A. Gross. VOTE:11.866//0/0/3.069. MOTION PASSES.

 

9:36 PMK. Cota MOVED to return to public session. SECOND:.G. White VOTE: Unanimous for members present. MOTION PASSES.
